Ibis Saintes, Saintes

The hotel rooms are a little on the small side but quite adequate for a one night stay. They were lovely, with air con that was really effective and very welcome in the summer heat. The evening meal was excellent, but there was an unfamiliar distribution of light switches.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative experiences. The location was convenient near the motorway network, but it was a bit outside of Sainted. The service was friendly and helpful, although a bit too enthusiastic with the herbs in the restaurant. The dining experience was satisfactory with some unique touches but lacked variety. The rooms were well-designed for accessibility and had a large desk, but my requested room was not available. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
